When she started talking about the sticker stars, a massive wave of nostalgia hit me when I remembered living at my grandma's house with all my cousins and the boys would sleep in one room so it would be like 6 to 7 of us just hanging out in the dark staring at those stars before going to sleep. Ironically enough, once those stars all seemed to disappear, we got farther from each other, but they never seemed to stop shining to me.

Themes and symbolism don’t show up enough in ASMR, and to a slightly lesser extent philosophy. The star stickers are how she pictures her friends, close and bright. She wants them to come to earth, but is scared they won’t. Listener-San as the moon represents how they can almost always be by her side with their bright but not overwhelming shine being there all the while. Hopes and dreams in the night sky are a beautiful thing to watch. I definitely still like to see the actual events that metaphorically represented as a star taking her rightful place as the sun. I hope they can find other stars like the ones on her ceiling to support them. They deserve to have friends by their side, rather than being on their own.

Listening to this got me in the feels, and I want to say something. The idea of being myself, and someone liking me for who I am because of that seems like such an unachievable goal. I've watched so many people close to me find happiness through their relationships, and I'm more than happy for them. I know from experience that you shouldn't chase after someone solely based on your own loneliness, but because you genuinely like and care about someone enough to try and get closer to them. But it always feels like I have to change myself to fit others standards, and thats not the kind of person I want to be. I'm not sure what the future holds, but im gonna hold out hope for me and anybody else out their whos struggling or going through a tough time right now. I wish you all the best of luck

Speaking of Star ceilings, this reminds me of my old room. When my brother and I were born, my parents remodeled the nursery jungle style. And my dad having experience with fiber optics dotted the entire ceiling with em. You could flip a switch and see hundreds of twinkling stars. Hey (Bellla?), this probably won’t be seen after all this time but I’ll vent anyway. I first heard this a few years back when I hadn’t even had my first relationship. It comforted me. Now, years on and a long time since listening, I’ve been through a great relationship and lost it, several jobs and moved on and unfortunately lost all of my family other than my older sister.
