Nós Estados Unidos eles chama de corn dog. Normalmente e feito com fubá ao invés de trigo. Esse me parece ser feito com fubá também. Costumo fazer em casa é muito saboroso.

Looks yummy my comment as a chef would just be that I would probably put the hot dog on after the cheese. With the hot dog on top you would get a more rounded end and look more authentic like the original.
