Popular walk from car park to stunning lake - SEEALPSEE, Switzerland!

Seealpsee is a stunning, picture perfect lake, tucked away in the east of Switzerland. Just a short 40-50 minute walk from a car park and a train station in Wasserauen, it's the most rewarding view for the least walking effort you can get! Go very early in the morning and you might just be by yourself!
The audio in the second half of the video is the sound of the wildlife around the lake recorded on a Zoom H6 audio recorder. No enhancements.

Been there three times, one of my absolute favourite places in Switzerland! Next time, take the mountain hiking path ("Bergwanderweg") via Klein-Hütten back! Also very beautiful, plus, in winter, when the path you walked is icy and becomes dangerous further uphill, the mountain hiking path is way more safe to walk! Only in the beginning (when coming from Wasserauen and walking to Seealpsee) it's more steep and exhausting, but then you each about 1220m and have really nice views! Plus, less people are walking there. The mountain hiking path is absolutely safe to walk for everyone, no mountain experience and equipment needed, no worries for people who are afraid of heights.

It really is and I was so fortunate to be there on such a still morning. I can honestly say it's one of the views I go back to most often on my phone to just look at again! And at that time of the morning with the bird song etc...good for the spirit for sure. To be able to stay there must have been lovely.
