Jason and I had a great time on this trip - sure it’s a dated ship, but what you have to remember is that it’s a very inexpensive trip. I’d gladly pay a couple hundred bucks to get away for a long weekend and eat some good food, watch some good entertainment, and have someone else make the bed. :) You don’t always have the luxury of taking a week off to go on a newer ship with a longer itinerary, so we wanted to show everyone what to expect on these shorter cruises. Definitely not for everyone, but for us, any day at sea is better than a day at home!

This was MY FIRST EVER CRUISE IN MY LIFE!!!!! Me and my family took this ship from Long Beach to Catalina and Ensenada back in 2016!!!!! Wow, such memories!!!!! I surely miss this ship, and had so much fun while it lasted!!!!!! But luckily, the larger ships, the Miracle and Radiance, are taking over Inspiration and Imagination on these shorter itineraries from Long Beach, and Panorama taking over the Splendor on the 7-day Riviera Itineraries

Ah man, I heard the news and been watching videos recalling my 2005 cruise out of Tampa. I turned 12 on that November 26, 2005 INSPIRATION cruise! Will be missed. This video was extremely detailed, of course it's changed greatly since 05 but I had a great time.

4:47 just finding out that Carnival Inspiration was sold and dismantled never gonna forget the crazy stuff that happened in Club 02 when I met other teens from around the world Especially the crazy dares we did for example not trying to sound like a player but probably had like 4 maybe 5 kissing dares and of course the dance party that went on

I'm going on this ship in July. It looks like a fun time, I just hope that at 6'4" 260 lbs I'm not too big/fat for the waterslide. As for the décor, it looks like something one would expect from a cruise line called Carnival. Bringing the kids, and I think they will really like it.

Question the ship was built in 1996? But renovated in 2016? Main important question: was there second hand smoke throughout the entire ship including the cabin?? Am I gonna feel like it’s really dusty and musty , especially in my cabin room? Thank you in advance for your reply. :-)

@@anythingeverything4 Thank you so much! It was built in 1996 and last renovated in 2018 I believe. Secondhand smoke is mostly a concern at the casino and surrounding areas. It is not a problem in the cabins at all.

I sailed on the inspiration in 2000 for my grandparents 50th anniversary. Unlike the narrators, I loved the ships décor, especially the brasserie (why do people like things that looks like everything else?) One thing not mentioned in this video is that the atrium originally had a large sculpture called "The Bird of Paradise" by Norwegian artist Leon Bronstein. The trip was fabulous and I will always cherish the memories.

This ship was a work of art. A lot of heart and wonder went into its design, that makes newer ships look like a cut-and-paste job. The narrators are free to disagree, but this ship was well worth preserving. In a better world, it would have been.

Yeah it is included, though some bars and restaurants are additional. otherwise you can get food included in any ticket price.

Really? The ship is available for sale for 155 million dollars. It Was refurbished in 2016 and still is a very nice piece of engineering but they must still be running it until it is sold 🤔

I went on this ship, and it was fantastic. I'm picky, so I thought the exotic food like duck (I know ducks are not exotic, but eating it is.) was shite. However, Guy's burgers and the 24 hour ice cream made up for it. I was 15 at the time, and leaving our room at three in the morning for ice cream was amazing. Secret story, I knew a kid of that cruise who was so wild, that he'd throw shit off the boat. Things like plates, burgers, and golf clubs. Wonder where he is now...
