Same with me, except it was my father. I'm not kidding. I am turning 16 on 5/5/2023. And from 5/5/2007-8/10/2020, my father abused me so hard, I was basically a white slave, but worse. But then, in March 2021, he died (words cannot describe how thankful I am for that) And then I discovered Eminem And it was like a curse (not actually, but similar to a curse) From 2020-march 2021, I was so thankful to be taken to my mom by CPS. But then, when he died, I found this song on that day. And ever since, I can't escape the thought of him and how terrible he is (I don't even cuss, but when it comes to him.... cussing takes another level) In fact, with my father, there was 1, maybe 2 good memories And when I listen to Eminem, it brings joy and helps me forget him in those times. Especially this song with the intro 😘 I have an unnecessary connection with this song of any songs.
