Urgh I see a similar comment on every song that's somewhat a bit old. Care to explain how it is "more relevant than ever"? At least explain what you mean, otherwise it's just another empty statement written to get likes. I'm not saying it's NOT relevant, but how specifically is it more relevant now than it was in 2000 when it came out? I can think of a few lines that stood the test of time, namely "and there's a million of us just like me [...] and just might be the next best thing, but not quite me" and "in every single person there's a Slim Shady lurkin'", but otherwise the song is 90% filled with disses and pop culture references from the early 2000's who themselves aren't relevant anymore. Tom Green, Britney, Christina, Carson Daly, Fred Durst, Tommy Lee, Pamela Anderson, The Bloodhound Gang (the "we ain't nothing but mammals" line) etc, are all dead or near dead culturally. Only one who isn't is Will Smith, but even then he's not famous at all for his rapping career anymore, so someone younger listening to this song for the first time today wouldn't know what the fuck the line means. So please, do enlighten me, not on how this song is still relevant, because I've agreed that it still is; but how it's more relevant now than when it came out, or at any point in its 22 years of life for that matter.
