What happens in the case where the due to so many changes and exponential growth of data tracked and entered the COPY sheet exceeds sheet cell limits. Would this not destroy the entire process?

Yes - it could. Simply put, a workflow would need to be in place to clear the COPY Sheet (I've run into this before). However, since this video was created a new Smartsheet automation (change cell value) has become available which is a better way to manage this process.

This was really helpful. I'm new to the match function; does the search type need to be identified as "0" if you're going to change the status out of order? It gets a little wonky around the 5:32 mark when adding Task 4. Thanks in advance!

The last portion of the match function refers to if the reference range is sorted ascending (1), descending (-1), or not sorted (0). Unless you know your range is sorted in a particular order I would 0 as it defaults to 1. Having the wrong value here can result in return values that are incorrect, or #NO MATCH errors.

Hi, at 5.33 you added task 4 and the start date automatically updated before you changed the status to in progress. How do you prevent this so that the start date will only appear when status has changed? I have just followed this video and now all my start dates are showing as today even though they haven’t been changed to in progress yet 🤔 Thanks

If I change the status In progress to Completed and change it back to In Progress next day does the start date get change again?

It could depending on how you set up your formula. If you capture the most recent change than yes, it would.
