Popup LOV Oracle APEX

In Oracle Application Express (APEX), a popup list is a type of item that allows users to select a value from a list in a popup dialog. This feature provides a more user-friendly and compact way to display and select from a list of options. It is commonly used in APEX applications to enhance the user experience.
To create a popup list in Oracle APEX, you can follow these general steps:
Log in to your Oracle APEX workspace and open the application you want to work with.
Navigate to the page where you want to add the popup list item.
Click on the "Create" button in the "Items" section or right-click on "Items" and select "Create" to create a new item.
Choose the "Popup LOV" (List of Values) as the item type.
In the item attributes, you'll need to configure the "List of Values" section. Here, you can define the SQL query or static values for the list of options that will be displayed in the popup. The query should return two columns: one for the display value and the other for the corresponding return value.
Customize other attributes such as the item name, label, and any validation, if required.
Save your changes, and the popup list item will be added to the page.
If you want to display the value selected from the popup list somewhere else on the page or perform certain actions based on the selection, you can use dynamic actions.

When using the multiple value select feature, how will we prevent duplicate values

In the query you will not include duplicate then can't be selected. thanks
