This is what is beautiful about long relationships. We don't have to pretend to be happy to keep the other person happy. We can be cranky and annoying as well. Even though our partners are going to love us just the way they did on the first day. I feel love still remains the same, just the way of expressing changes over time. Newer relationships have everything out in the open whereas in older relationships everything is subtle and understood.
