I added a halo on mine. Start on the neckline make a chain that will go to the other side of neckline. I then added a 15 sc chain to hook to hang.

What is the best way to stiffen this angel if you make it in cotton pls?

Hi Catherine, I put the angel on a piece of paper, spray it with hair spray and let it dry. It's easy and fast for me. But I rarely do the stiffen part. I just use smaller hook size than the recommend size on the yarn label and crochet a little tighter. Hope it works for you as well. Thank you for watching.
