I believe the mic didn't pick up the sound of the audience and only the music. OR the music was so loud that you couldn't hear the audience. Because during the "serve" scene the audience sound louder and there wasn't any music going on.

They edited it and replaced the sound with the original sound file for the dance so that you cant hear the noise of the audience.
