The fact that the pineapple having lots of eyes reminds me of a Filipino legend on how a girl (who couldn't find anything she lost or she was told to find) turns into a pineapple with many eyes The story starts out a girl living with a single parent mother They work together to make a living for their lives Now the mother is always frustrated that whenever she tells her daughter (the girl named Pinya) to get something, girl never finds it even if it is simply near her One day the mother was sick leaving the girl to do all the work for her making it even hard for both of them The mother was so frustrated that she told her daughter to go leave her A few days passed and the mother felt well again but she couldn't find her after searching the whole house, she went outside to her garden and saw a fruit with many eyes The mother (somehow) realizes that the fruit with many eyes was her own daughter With such grief she named the many eyed fruit after her daughter "Pinya" and took care of it and grew many pineapples Basically the word "Pinya" in Filipino means Pineapple I dunno I just wanted to share this

Fun fact: Pineapples eat you back. They slowly "dissolve" your skin. They contain an enzyme called bromelain, which is responsible for this, as it breaks down protein chains. Now every time you eat pineapple, you'll know why your mouth starts hurting. :D

WELL NO WONDER one night I was eating a fresh slice of pineapple, after a few bites, my tongue started to burn and around my throat and mouth I got scared thinking I was allergic to pineapples so I put it down, and I haven't eaten a pineapple since....strange....that also happened once when I ate strawberries, I was eating a few strawberries and my tongue started to burn so a drank some water and it didn't help SO NOW I KNOW WHY I FELT BURNING WHEN I ATE THE PINEAPPLE AAA bit I dunno about the strawberry thing, also I'm doing this at night and I have insomnia sooo looks like I'm not going to sleep tonight

Also a mini QnA because it's been 2 years of not answering comments (I don't have the time sorry!): - The general story is about trying to get over an addiction (to drugs, a person, a feeling), LSD/Pineapple is just an example and a metaphor. I won't explain more on it, everything else is up for assumption ;)) - The characters are nonbinary, they're supposed to be the ones to relate to so pronoun can be a he or a she or anything in between and above depends on how you see them - The "Pineapple is LSD" fact is from an old friend of mine who actually did LSD, a lot of things in here are inspired by her, but we lost connection - Yes that's a Jojo reference and no one in my class noticed :(
