Porsche 718 Spyder RS - Best useable sportscar ever made?

There are plenty of fast cars around but its good to hear you feel a positive emotional response to the car. As an owner of a GT4RS, I feel the emotional response is heightened by the way the stunning PDK works in conjunction with the amazing engine, which must be just about the best engine on the market (certainly one of the more expensive), along with the intake noise. Also things seem to get better with age, and having done 16,000 kms the engine feels freer and that adds a little to the emotions.

Thanks Alena, yeah it’s exactly that some just do something different. It take a seriously amazing machine to do this but the car just does something special to you and if you love a drivers car this just is the best or up there with the absolute best bar none. @@PeakPerformanceReviews I have an RS Spyder coming around October and wonder if I will find it better than the GT4RS, which I probably should have sold a year ago when prices were strong! The GT4RS is brilliant but here in Australia we pay a hefty premium.

Hard to say, I guess depends if you’ve ever had a Spyder/convertible car, or add another dimension especially to something so dynamic which I’m sure you’ll love it’s amazing 🫶

You can look forward to that. Got mine two months now and it is a blast. Best for twisty country or mountain roads. Had the non-RS before which was great, but the RS is just next level with that engine, that sound, the shorter gearing and much more. It's just so emotional to drive this, especially when you push it somewhat and you feel how great the whole package works when it's doing for what it was made.

This is a beautifully designed vehicle. Its only fault is not being offered with a manual. As good as the PDK automatic is, it will never be as good as an EV automatic and will eventually be replaced by it. On the flip side, an automatic (regardless of power source) can never provide the pleasure of driver engagement, and ultimately, desirability.

Amen manual all the way! This car is so so good though that in most situations it honestly doesn’t matter too much at all. My people that own one of these would likely own another car and of which I suspect one would be with a manual! Love it so so much! Thanks for watching Vaga ❤️

Haha I was merely pointing out you’d be pointing out loads of my errors, I struggle with things like this. In my defence I didn’t know and before I started filming I even asked Porsche GB bods and they told me I was saying it right 😂😆 It would certainly be on my radar some day I’m sure. I’d have to buy a lot more Porsche’s to get one I believe so not likely for me. Funny enough I may have something coming with a Porsche badge soon all the same 💪 Massive congrats on the Porsche you’re going to love it, it’s a mega bit of kit. Yes, and was awful, terrible roof mechanism and too stiff for UK roads, Far better cars out there for £135,000 and in UK silly folks are paying overs

It would make the top 10 in my list that’s for sure! Top 2 I’d say. And I wouldn’t care really how fast it can go around a track, road only 95% at least. This is an extreme machine without any doubt and I expect the last of its type. Thanks for the review, enjoyed watching the drive and going early on the power as well ;)
