Worked perfectly for me, still fairly new to the game and learning the tracks, 12 laps helps fast. Finished a 7th, then improved to a car length behind 2nd, then a first! I got this!! Thanks for your info and tune help, loved the car and tune on this track, I will gain extra $$$ Credits for sure!

I may try this. Finally beat Tokyo 600 in the GT40. I did the Volvo build, but couldn’t keep it on the road. Tried the GT-R ‘24 but felt it a little underpowered, but handled beautifully*UPDATE* Built and ran the car…it’s amazing!

The weight combined with lack of grip on the gtr is messing me up. Maybe it's just skill issue or I'm not used to it yet but I gave it a couple attempts I just built the r35 last night.

I love this car in VR, this will bring me back to the Tokyo grind for sure, thank you. Btw can you do a tune for the Porsche 917k for the 800pp races? Same for the lemans Ferrari from that era.....

@KCR-Mark I did the same setup but got 608.88 pp at 633 bhp. Everything is the same. Any ideas what's causing the difference?

Went with the fully customisable racing transmission as I play with a controller and can’t coordinate all the buttons to drive with manual gears. Came in at 609.17 pp. I’ve had to drop the ECU to 90 and power restrictor to 84 to get it down to 599.07

@ never knew that, thanks. Won the race, just finished now, only by about 2.4 seconds. Map 1 did exactly 6 laps. Gearing wise changed to 8th on the main straight just you hit the braking zone so had to wall ride turn 1 each lap.

I’ll give the other trans a try and put the power back up again. Rain the fully customised with the same ratios too.

I tried this still struggled in the corners and couldn’t make anytime on the leader unless it’s down the straights. Might try the Volvo engine swap

@@lykast1 Welcome , yes it will work but you may have to use a fuel map to save a bit of fuel as the auto gears will rev out the engine between gears changes 👍

I played with the gears a bit and as Mark said use your fuel mapping.

nice video, I did it and I can say I gained lots of seconds in straight lines, but it was an absolute horror trying to handle the car through corners. 4/10

I do agree to be fair I tried out this car and setup and it felt like it was handling a Chevrolet. It is very efficient on straights but I just struggle using it on corners and it always feel like the corners are where racers catch up the most to me.

Great build man, loved the car on the straights, it's a monster with these 8 gears, i just think it's handling is awful, can't really make any turns and even less with the open turns, gotta drop to first or 2nd gear and with a lot of brake, losing too much time and getting hit out of the race.

This race actually stresses me out lmaoo i honestly wish they had more races worth farming… why spend 30 mins at a track for 200k when i can do le man for 800.. working in getting better at this track tho to give me 4 tracks to farm 😂😢
