Nice work. Doesn't seem so complicated. My '62 356 doesn't have the black oil filler duct, so easier to slide the dynamo out, should I need it at some time.

Looks like you can remove all the capacitors that you have next to the voltage regulator, these were to reduce radio noise and will not do anything for your setup, particularly with the solid state regulator

Hi Bryan, love your videos. Do you mind telling me where the temperature probe for your external thermometer goes? I’m restoring another 912, this one with the same thermometer you have but I didn’t remove it from the car originally so don’t know where to run it. Keep up the great videos!

It is sort of next to the battery or behind it. It sticks out in the inner fender area near the horn grill.
