I originally bought a Kenwood with a CD player. It was a deep mount / too big to sit all the way in at the bottom. So disappointing. That said, I love the double DIN in there! It's a great, modern touch to a classic 80s car

Yeah the full size bodies I don’t think will fit, but these new shallow mount chassis fit great!

My microphone is attached to one of my switch blanks. It's awful. Background noise is loud. I need to move it, but to where?

@@rrassoc I placed mine by my right knee out of sight on the bottom of the dash. So far so good, no complaints but I’ve only made two calls so we will see. When I have some time with the unit installed I’ll do a full video review of it and talk about things like mic placement and gps antenna placement
