My 944 actually had this triangle adjusting tool in the glove box.....always wondered what it was for... now I know!! It has a knob on the end for turning.

No problem! It made a huge difference in the way my car ran so I thought I'd share.

If I run 94 octane, non-ethanol fuel, would this help at all? I’m running an ‘87 turbo and it needs minimum 91 octane. Our 91 octane is ethanol enriched (10%?). I believe that ethanol screws up everything.

Can use a T9 to adjust also

So, what do we do for early cars? ('84 n/a)

Same idea just different values, you can find what the position values are for the early cars online.

Will it work on a 88 turbo?
@EGCMomentslater2 жыл бұрын
Yes, all 85.5+ ECUs are set up the same in this regard.

No. I have a turbo as well and the spot for the blue adjusting knob shown in the video is taken up by the tube that goes to the cycling valve.
