Porsche 944 Sunday drive

In today's feature, we have a Porsche 944.

Here is a short story about the car, from Arthur, the owner.
"Long story short: it's the car I dreamed of for about 18 years. He had only one owner for 32 years. The car was 5 years in New York then 27 in Florida. I have had it for about 5 years.
It's a weirder 944 from 1986. It's a 2.5 in 4 cyl (half v8), 5-speed box (a5a with overdrive), factory adjustable, turbo diffuser, and a rare lip on the front.
The color let's say it's rarer (most of them you can find in red or any other color), has some different options than Europe and I tried (and I try) to keep it as original as possible.

The wheels are OZ strosek. It has a Nardi wooden steering wheel and a wooden shifter (made by me). "

So happy for you that you love cars and have a hobby like this... all young men need a nice project car in their life.. you will remember that car forever. Don't listen to ppl who try to mock you or tell you how crazy you are... most of them never put real effort into anything like what you are doing. I built three race cars and I heard it all from so-called critics. You keep working on that 944... take your time, ask for help and advice when needed, and just don't ever quit until you finish. I just bought a Unicorn, 1987 P944 garaged since 1995 and only 5k on the odometer. It looks inside and out like a new P944. Only upgrade I've done so far is replaced the 15" phone dials with Staggerd 16" Phone Dials. I want to keep it as stock as possible. Oh I did upgrade to a Pioneer Android Auto head and infiniti speakers to replace the old blaupunkt speakers (bluepoint). These are wonderful vehicles, keep them stock, don't boy racer them (zipper head them). No fart can, no gaudy wheels, don't lower them, just preserve them but drive them like they were meant to be driven.

How did you get your headlights to stay open on just a sliver? Are u still able to flip them up completely?

On the mechanism, there is a knob on the motor, If you unplug the power and rotate the knob the lights will open as far as you want 😀 😉
