Flat 6's do smoke a little on start up naturally because the cylinders are laying on their side. The trick with the air oil separator, you called it the PCV valve, is to never fill the oil all the way up. I like to keep mine at most one lower than the top mark.

I'll have to partially disagree here. Of course money shouldn't be our main priority, but under this administration a lot of blue collar people started earning livable wages and that's very healthy for not only them, but society overall. Well paid honest jobs are a great incentive to reduce poverty and all the bad things that poverty induced stress causes (drug abuse, abusive relationships, divorces, fatherless kids etc...). It's actually easy to understand if we simplify the economy, when we reduce the number of pencil pushers living off the backs of honest working people, the honest working people get to keep more.

I'm no expert, but isn't it possible that ad rates *in general* dropped in the days after the election, since all that political ad spending ran out? Regardless of the outcome of the election? It's simple economics - decreased demand for advertising means pricing must fall to keep ad slots full. Once you got down to business there was some helpful stuff in the video - thanks.

I’m a little late to this video as I’m just now in the market for a 987 Cayman, but… Great content, though maybe talk more about Porsches and less about politics? Never put straight water in your coolant tank (unless it’s a dire emergency). The Porsche pink coolant is pre-mixed, just add it directly. Presidents and elections don’t affect KZbin CPMs…only KZbin does. Hardworking people that start their own companies can also be Independents or Democrats. Ask me how I know… Economies (and their stock markets) have generally done better under Democrat presidents. Communism is bad (though some think the associated authoritarianism is OK?), socialism isn’t necessarily bad. Socialism is a convenient boogey-man for the uniformed. Without some level of socialism we wouldn’t have a lot of shared resources that we all take advantage of, like: fire, police, roadways, military, education, insurance, healthcare, etc.…with 2-3 of the latter being for profit. Learn the difference (see: 8th grade civics class).

The AOS is known to go bad on a regular basis. Probably a good idea to replace every 50,000 or so - they are not expensive, even the genuine Porsche part. Also the rear hatch can be put into a "service position". Simply push up further and it goes to a near-vertical position.

My 997 puffs out a huge amount of smoke on startup that completely goes away after about 10 seconds. The longer it's left without starting the worse it is. I hope replacing the separator fixes it. It actually looks like once you remove all the covers you have more access on a Cayman than you do on a 911. I guess the cover behind the seats will be the next video.

All flat boxer engines will puff out smoke on start up occasionally, mine has always done it (Cayman 2.7, 128,000 miles, '07) Even though I've recently replaced the AOS it still does it. Oil collects in the bottom of the cylinders and won't drain, just gets burnt off on start up.

I think it's gonna be a shitshow if they really get the throne, Joe looks very unhealthy and won't last long so it'll probably be Kamala in charge, and she had to even withdraw from the primaries due to lack of popularity amongst DNC voters. And DNC also lost House seats and didn't win the Senate, so it'll be a gridlock there.
