Major props to whoever owns that car. I didn't know ppl who owned any sort of flashy truck (porche, cadillac, lincoln, bmw) would even think about letting theyr pampered vehicle leave the pavement yet alone letting it get covered in mud. Seeing a porche like this would make n e rich person have a stroke just thinking about it. In that 2:47 video that car lived more then any high end vehicle ever will.

@Godfather9307 75 series landcruiser/troopy or 78 or 79 series landcruiser. the issue in the long run is rust, as they are built with steel to withstand australian/african conditions, whereas landrovers are built with aluminium to withstand much wetter conditions ;)

between a porsche cayenne and a range rover, one is specifically made for off road in terms of you take it there and u don't mind it getting dirty, HOWEVER, the other is the porsche which just doesn't belong getting dirty, that being said, both are great cars

the problem wasn't the cayenne the problem was the tires. those tires obv were meant for road and not for rough slops. Put some 265/65 R18 BF Goodrich All Terrain on it and problem solved.

@numatti123 Well it actually probably would have done pretty well with off road tires but that thing had some street tires on it. Plus you gotta admit for a Porsche it was doing damn well. They're more capable than they look. I still wouldn't do that to mine if I had one.

Please someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the brake rotors and calipers need a very large rim to fit over them. This means you can only use a low-profile tire on the Cayenne and no mud tire will fit.

Mostly to appeal to the socialites who probably think the bigger their car and the more power it has, the bigger and more powerful they will become among their peers. The small boy part of me actually likes the idea of such things but deep in my mind, where they should stay. In other words you'd have to be pretty silly to actually take the plunge and buy one. A good strong diesel engine just seems to suit these cars and their purpose the best.

@markssite I had a nissan pathfinder for a while, its a great car but it bottomed out on ruts quite a bit. My euro ford ranger is much higher and was more capable off road. Pathfinder better for doing long distance due to fun gadgets and touch screen.

@surajrs4 1. The disks are usually the size they need to safely stop the car 2. It's illegal (at least here in Finland) to fit smaller brakes. Bigger is ok but not smaller But yeah you could still do it...

No,it's not. It has good computer algorithm for 4x4 offroad torque controll (vector torque controll as they call it) and pretty good ground clearance (not the best of course). It only need proper offroad tires.
