Not true. There have historically been many four door coupe's. The definition is not fixed and the only thing that appears to be a constant is the sloping rear roofline.

Full leather isn’t as sporty. I’ve got half leather Cooper S seats in my Mini and I’m glad I didn’t go for full leathers, my old BMW and Golf was like a slip and slide on tight bends.
