The only reason the Cayman drops behind is because they don’t come with an LSD as standard, chances are he’s running with an open diff which just isn’t ideal. Slap an OS Giken slip diff in and they’d be close

Jason Kong. Thanks . It has a Remus exhaust, 997 GT3 throttle body, IPD plenum, GT3 brake ducts, RE71R tires, Pagid Yellow brakes, and racing brake fluid. Suspension wise it’s stock PASM.

Whats your alignment setting though if suspension are stock

Jason Kong . I’m running -.8 in the front and -1.5 on the back. Due to no camber plates, I think this is the max unless I start using coil overs and camber plates. If I start using coil overs, lower the car, start setting aggressive cambers, I need to upgrade my oil system including the AOS. I only have a high capacity FVD oil pan with extended pickup. Or else I’m facing engine catastrophe due to the extreme G forces it will pull during cornering.

i bet you can be right at the tail of the gt3 with suspension mods and more aggresive alignment setup :) thanks for sharing

Do you think it's necessary to get a larger oil sump and install a third radiator for track use or are those upgrades more idealistic than realistic? Thoughts on the IMS?
