​@_sumit_kr it's called that in English speaking places because it is essentially identical to a well known ancient symbol that was widely used across a lot of cultures worldwide that already had that name in english. You still can see very early 20th century buildings in the us with that tile pattern (where somebody didnt bother replacing it after it picked up the other connotations), it was even the symbol and nickname of a US army division. Actually just saw some 19th century wood molding with a locked meander pattern that ended up forming these... So of course people aren't going to use the German name for the symbol.

@@Arkolob true just made a joke, I also read history and most of the invasion involved most of their lighter Panzer 4 and smaller tanks lot of Czech tanks were used during the invasion of France. The 35 T and 38 T I think did a lot of the fighting in France and they eventually saw service on the East. I think most tigers were on the Eastern front though and for a heavy had mobility on par with Medium tanks. Had the same speed as Sherman's but they governed them to run a bit slower as that would put the drivetrain under excessive strain and cause more frequent breakdowns and maintenance. The wide tracks gave it better off road capability than some of the smaller tanks as it had lower ground pressure but due too the complex overlapping wheels if mud or snow wasn't cleared out and allowed to freeze it would lock up the tracks.

@@quisazaderak9257 Für einen wirklich aussagekräftigen Test müsste man mehrere Faktoren beachten. Es geht nicht alleine um die Drehzahl mit der man das Logo dreht. Zu beachten ist die Bildrate mit welcher man filmt und zudem auch ob man das Logo mit einer einfachen Glühbirne beleuchtet, die mit 50 Hertz flackert oder mit einer mit Geichstrom betriebenen Filmlampe. Wenn man mit 24 Bildern pro Sekunde filmt ist das was anderes als wenn man 25 Bilder die Sekunde nimmt oder 30 oder gar 60 Bilder pro Sekunde. Wenn Du einen wirklich aussagekräftigen Test machen willst, dann solltest Du alle Möglichkeiten einmal durchspielen. Man kann auch mit einer Stroboskoplampe, die regelbar ist das ganze zum Schluss noch einmal verdeutlichen, bei welcher man dann die Frequenz des Blitzens verändert, um aufzuzeigen dass es eben beim VW Logo ganz und gar unmöglich ist und was beim Porsche Logo erscheint ist auch nicht unbedingt das was die Leute da hinein interpretieren. So wäre es möglich diesen "Mythos" endgültig zu widerlege.

@@Vulcan650Vampire my understanding is that at certain speeds the logo rotates so that it turns exactly upside down between camera frames, which makes the two bits with the black stripes on the coat of arms appear in four corners (once the right way up and once upside down), thus creating the effect
