Mike's build really shows what a single person can accomplish. With enough research and hard work, anyone can do this exact build. Thus far, it only takes forethought and the right tools. It's even to the point where if you don't have the tools, the labor at a shop seems reasonable. I don't want to brown mouth or anything, but this build seems reasonable for a full rally build

It’s probably a bad engine....... lol. Seriously I don’t know what the issues are that your engine is having but I’d recommend double checking the firing order and timing against what it says in the manual. I’ve had a couple engines not run or not run right due to the timing being off by a tooth or two

I think they can put more of a roll cage in cars in cars from the factory they could do a lot more with the structure or they can make a modified aftermarket insulation if you want to beef it up

This guy is far more capable than Donut media can ever do. All they do is buy aftermarket parts and throw it together. ECS are full of professional individuals who know what they are doing.

Cage looks great. Nice where it really counts man. I ran the same combo many, many years ago in my old 9A 16v build with the Cat Cams and JE's. What are the specs on those lumpy sticks anyway? That chassis is really getting the love it deserves. Did you used to work at TMS, or do you just own a ton of their shirts???

What are the factors involved when deciding on the base plate locations for the case? For the rear of the cage, I mostly see them mounted to the rear strut towers.

Unrelated to the Porsche, but around 15:40 there was a Tiguan being worked on in the background. It looked like brakes, is there a big brake setup coming from ECS?

Good eye! thats actually my Tig (video editor) and we were test fitting Coilovers. No BBK planned as far as I'm aware but we are prototyping an exhaust! Keep your eyes peeled for that!

@@ecstuning exhaust you say?! I’d love to see proper aftermarket exhaust for these. The rear end is so boring on my wife’s Tiguan, really want to liven it up. I’ve learned that Golf R styles fit with some modification. Been thinking and piecing together ideas for that and other things on the Tiguan.
