In my opinion, this is one of the most attractive waggons available. The Taycan is one of the few electric vehicles that makes me optimistic about the future of the industry. This is a fantastic vehicle. I'm also blown away by Porsche's ability to produce such incredible models in such a short period of time. This vehicle is just stunning.

I think the 4S is the sweet spot in the range. The Cross Turismo comes standard with the 93kWh battery and as such is much the same price as the standard 4S with the option of the 93kWh battery. The 4S is more than fast enough and has more range than the Turbo or Turbo S.

Always fun to go VW logo hunting on Porsches. I've got a 30 year old Porsche (yes, it has VW parts on it) and the only bit that is badly designed is the centre console cover, which breaks off if you use it. It's an in house part. The VW parts are lasting well.

I'm not a huge Porsche fan but this makes a _very_ convincing argument for itself -- so much so that I think even Jeremy Clarkson will be curious. I don't think it will sell in huge numbers, but I think it will help establish some more long-term credibility for Porsche and be known as one of those "best kept secrets" in motoring. Re: the so-called "off-road pack", I don't think anyone will honestly think of it as an off-roader, but they will see all those bits of skirting as an excuse not to wrap it in cotton wool. This could become the new every day sports/supercar. And I love that it has two gears. And props for Porsche for going with a spaceship noise instead of a pointless petrol engine noise. Lean into the techy-nerdiness.

I prefer the look of the CrossTurismo over the standard Taycan, not only that, it improves the rear passenger space and space with the seats folded down when you have to do the tip run!!! I suspect that this will sell in larger numbers than the standard Taycan.

Amazing Machinery by Porsche. The only thing - I would keep that beautiful curved main speedometer screen and infotainment LCD, but climate control and other features should be done with regular aluminum buttons and knobs.

I had a taycan for a weekend. It was unreal. It changed what I thought possible in a car in terms of performance😳 Nitpicking: Navigation does not include charge stops, change of modes and restart resets your preferences, the configuration of the lever for the cruise control is super weird.

Mat, the slight increase in ride height actually allows more weight transfer to the rear offering more traction from a "dig" hence the tenth quicker 0-60. right then, this means the KEY is once the car hits 60 (or some other speed) the vehicle needs to AUTO LOWER ITSELF while on the move (maybe it'll drop if you press the button) as you accelerate through the 1/4 mile, and that way you'll be FASTEST overall at both the front end and back end of the run. this is Drag Racing Science Top Fuel/NHRA style, that is (even though the run is over in less than 4 secs) the car is being "adjusted" by timers on the clutch to optimize/maximize traction the whole way down the track.

You could mention that there's a bloody big battery under the back floor and that's why it's raised - bugger the foot area. Back seats are mostly for kids anyway. The lip of the boot opening is necessarily high for cabin protection and the rigidity of the shell. This car is magical in every way.

I ordered one 2 weeks ago! I got the chalk color with some cool wheels etc. I test drove the Tycan and was blown away. I felt like I was in a spaceship! I'm so excited for the Cross Tourismo. It seems like a combination of the Cayenne and 911. I have an M3 1998 convertible that I love driving. When I drove the Tycan I felt that connection and response to the road but a smoooth ride. Great video and vey funny!

Prefer the looks to the 'normal' Taycan - it's its own thing, a fast estate and not trying to resemble a bloated 911 the way other non-911 Prosches often do. Also, while the drag races are fun and bring in big viewing figures, it's the reviews like this that I find the best thing about the channel. And no doubt suits carwow themselves most! Even if there's no way I'd ever be in the market for cars like this wonderful Taycan X-Turismo.

In high suspension mode it did the quarter mile 10.88 which is .02 (2/100ths of a second slower than 10.86 and not .2 (2/10ths) like you said! In other words there is no real difference in the times, well unless you consider 2/100ths of a second worth worrying about! amazing car either way!
