Reading all these comments about me here made me cry, I'll admit. Thank you everyone! I love you all. We have a different van, older but a Chrysler Town and country. Hoping it can be turbo'd. Same engine that's in Chair Force, 3.6 Pentastar. Guess I'll call it Chair Force 2..lol. Thanks again!! Chris, aka Chair Force One.

It's truly an emotional moment and experience for Chair Force One going down that track. 17seconds down the track after 20 plus years. Congratulations on the joy and your good spirits my good man and the solid pass. I solute you sir.

Aame here. I also solute the guy at 28:55 in the background during the interview after the Chair Force One run. Most able bodied people wouldn't do what they did.
@Rumbuilder2 жыл бұрын
When talking to the guy in the mini van you see a dude in a wheel chair in the background miss the trash can wheel around into the grass and struggle to pick up the dropped trash and throw it away. Dude’s in a chair and still picks up his trash, so there’s no excuse for anyone who can walk to put their damn cart in the cart return!

My older brother Rich was paralyzed from the waist down (paraplegic) and used hand controls to drive. He still raced. ‘67 Camaro with a high compression big block from Reher Morrison engine, back halved glass quarter panels. Around 950/1000hp on pump gas. It was totally awesome to see another handicap guy out there racing. Did my heart good. Thank you for showing that.👊🏼

@nakotahunt13242 жыл бұрын
Look at top fuel. They're 3 times bigger
@Sharkey_t2 жыл бұрын
@@nakotahunt1324 no, they arent. top fuelers use a 14-71 roots blower, and they move the blower so far back on the manifold that they look massively long, but thats because the snout is so long. the blower on the porsche is a whipple 980. the whipple 980 is roughly the same case length as a 14-71, but they are much wider and taller. we used to run them in top alcohol in the 90s and early 2000s till you couldnt recertify them anymore. they were an absolute beast of a blower

Chair Force One and Chris to the top man. First pass in 29 years it's great to see him getting back into drag racing. That Chevette needs a late model aluminum 4.3. I bet it would run low 11s.
@nickfrechette192 жыл бұрын
I was smiling the whole interview of chair force one. How could you not. What a bad ass!
@chesspiece812 жыл бұрын
@@nickfrechette19 Absolutely. I had a near fatal accident in 2017 that broke me up really bad. I wasn't left paralyzed or anything like that but I was left disabled. The first time I went back to the track was so much fun and felt like such an accomplishment. At the time I had a Trailblazer SS that my PB was 11.8 in the quarter. The first time at the track I could only run 12.3 because my leg wasn't as strong as it used to be since I was still using a walker at the time and had only recently gotten out of the wheelchair. It was Alabama summer time hot, I wasn't able to footbrake enough, and the 345/40/17 Toyo Proxes TQ needed to be replaced. My best friend went 12.0 that same night. Later I put on some 325/45/17 M&H Racemasters and it was able to hook much better than the Toyo it set my PB on but I never got another pass out of it before I sold it. Chris making a pass for the first time in 29 years is a huge accomplishment, I don't know you at all and I doubt you see this but I'm proud of you brother. Keep up the good work!!!

The feller who wrecked reminds me of a very kind man I once knew. He was an avid member of "The Clunkers," his brother was Mr. America a few times, brothers wife was also a body builder. Chair Force One, this goes to show you that is you have the drive and determination and want to do something, nothing can hold you back except for yourself. Your own mind will be the one to lock you in a cage, but if you don’t let your mind trap you then you can do anything. Put your mind to it and GOOOO. It’s always the nicest of people who have the most fucked up shit happen to them but I love seeing people do what they love to do even with something like a handicap or physically limited, but this dude did it!
