Da geht mir das Herz auf wenn ich die ehemaligen Ingenieure so emotional über Porsche reden seh. Da erinner ich mich an den Moment als 7Jähriger zum ersten Mal in nem Elfer mitzufahren. Dieser Nagel steckt ein Leben lang im Kopf. Porsche

Now this is great Porsche content. This is what is superinteresting. Coming from a 911 Turbo owner a few years 997 Tutbo ÖDK. Great car (but had tp change the turbos on Potschee Approved) 317.4 km/h GPS top söeed.

watched a 993turbo being built on the line (literally, not thru a window) back in 97, and said I have to have one. Well after much saving managed to save enough to buy a good one in some 15yrs later, a step on from my 964C2. Das turbo is spektakular!! Danke Porsche.

Don't forget ''The Turbo Man from Buchloe '', Prof . Fritz Indra who worked at Alpina and later at Audi. Also a legend in the Turbo development !!

...tolle Serie zum 911 Turbo. Wobei es ja neben dem 911 später auch den 924 und 944 als turbo gab. Auf jeden Fall ein schöner (Rück)Blick auf die Anfänge der Turbo Technologie auf der Straße. Übrigens hatten auch BMW mit dem 2002 Turbo und Saab zu dieser Zeit entsprechende Technik im Portfolio....

Für mich ist der 911 Turbo MkI genau das für den versierten Sportwagenfahrer was der 917 für seine Hand voll legendärer Piloten war. Allein der Blick auf den 911 Innenraum, einzigartig stilvoll in seiner Sportlichkeit, und das Klicken der Tür vermitteln die richtige Einstellung. Was das 'T' zusätzlich aus diesem phantastischen Konzept gemacht hat ist Geschichte. Es ist auch ein Wagen dem man gewachsen sein muß. Und das ist richtig so, denn schnelle Autos sind kein Spielzeug. Ich genieße die Eingangsszene von 'Italian Job' in der Originalverfilmung aber Fahren und Besitzen möchte ich unter all den Fabelwesen seither genau den oben genannten. Danke. 😊

Die Serie ist wirklich fantastisch und zeigt was Liebe zum Automobil ausmacht! Nicht nur das Auto, sondern auch die Menschen die dahinterstecken, die Entwicklung, der Wille etwas besonderes zu kreieren! Das ist das was Porsche zur Weltspitze gebracht hat im Thema Sportwagen. Fraglich ist nun für mich der Zeitpunkt dieser Serie, hab meiner Frau den letzten Macan GTS verbrennen gekauft und werde in keinem Fall einen Macan Elektro kaufen. Wie kann man sich als Antrieb von Emotionen und der Wirtschaft so vor den woken grünen Karren spannen lassen, wenn man so ein Doku macht??? Erklärt mir das mal!!!

Was hat das eine jetzt mit dem anderen zu tun? Es darf also keine Doku über die Historie geben, weil sich das Antriebskonzept jetzt ändert? Ist die Historie dadurch nichts mehr wert? Da könnte man genauso sagen, Porsche bricht mit seiner Tradition und stellt sowas unsportliches wie Cayenne und Macan her. Als ob ein Macan jetzt irgendwie Emotionen transportieren würde 😂

Es gibt viele die ihre Leidenschaft bei 911 haben aber sich aus familiären oder Platzgründen einen Cayenne oder Macan holen. Und es kann doch niemand leugnen, dass ein Porsche der keinen Boxerklang mehr hat das meiste seiner Faszination verloren hat. Wer sowas leugnet versucht sich nur Sachen schön zu lügen. Dieser Herr findet doch nur ganau diesen Umstand „seltsam“ das Porsche mit Videos zur Leidenschaft zu Verbrennermotoren in einer Zeit des „vermeintlichen“ Verbrenner-Aus kommt. Oder vielleicht eben gerade deswegen. Um damit die Liebe für Verbrenner neu zu entfachen, wer weiß

To me the ultimate super sports car was always the 911 turbo. Never ever got excited by others just a 911 turbo. I get shaking knees and wet eyes every time i see one. Once i have driven a 1986 930/911 turbo wls. It was in cassius rot with burgundy interior and had the super cool heated electric sports seats in it. It has also had the coolest wheels on a set of wide Ruf speedline. It was a blasting experience to drive it and feeling the raw 330 hp. People keep saying that never meet your hero but all i can tell is that the 911 turbo was exactly in every aspect what was in my dreams and imagination. Zero disappointment! I hope one day i will able to buy one because my heart is aching for that car ever since. It’s in my thoughts and soul deeply and constantly. I just have to have one…..

I fully understand your passionate desire to own a Typ 930 911 Turbo, as the 3.0 and 3.3 litre pre-1991 versions were my favourite car and dream car to own when growing up. However, after driving 911 Turbos owned by friends, the phrase: “Never Meet Your Hero” came true for me. By comparison with the light, agile, responsive and quick enough for race circuit use; the manual versions of the 1972 911S 2.4, ‘73 911 S 2.4, 1974 - 1975 Carrera 2.7 (which are more highly developed versions of of the 1973 911 RSL but 13kg lighter, the 911 Turbo, with the same brakes as these models, felt extremely heavy, there was significant turbo lag, thus losing the immediate throttle response of the four aforementioned models, and the superb crisp exhaust notes of the 210 hp 2.7 and 190hp 2.4 litre engines was lost, replaced by a muted hum with a hint of the naturally aspirated engines’ growl if I listened hard for it. Having owned a ‘72S and ‘74 Carrera, I was accustomed to driving 911s and by comparing them to the 911 Turbos specifications, I had a good idea as to what to expect. However, after my first experience in a 3.3 911 Turbo, I was still left shocked and indescribably disappointed, as my hero car was dull (aside from straight line acceleration) in every respect, to my cars. I recall thinking to myself: “Wow! … I am extremely glad that I was able to drive a 911 Turbo very quickly on winding hilly roads with the owner sitting behind me, before I spent what is a great amount of money in Australia (3x the US prices and 2x the UK prices ) to purchase one!” Turbocharging is perfect for many classes of racing, but I will always choose a naturally aspirated Porsche for road use.

Hello Porsche, I have a 2022 911 (992) Turbo S Convertible. Ordered it from new, it has an unresolved issue since delivery. The dealer can't fix it, no-one seems interested in resolving it.
