Huh, And I guess jigglypuff also counts as a primarily female character. Just realized when I think about the ratio I usually don’t count the Pokémon as female, bus everyone seems in agreement and it’s not even a question that puff is a girl puff and not a guy puff-interesting. Meanwhile all the other Pokémon are primarily male characters. That’s actually really cool, because it also manages to reflect the actual gender ratios from the game too. In the games, All the other Pokémon except Pikachu(who is 50/50) are more likely to be male(starters always are, and lucario is too,) while puff is more likely to be female- and the main pikachu is the very specific flagship pikachu, who has always been male.

Starters are not always male but it's very likely. They have a 87.5% chance to be male
