Amazing game of footy, went to the pub to watch this game, the energy was immence! So happy that we’re learning from our mistakes, and letting young players like Windsor and Mcvee play, absolute superstars! Proud of Macca who was able to shut down Dixon so many times, Benny brown for all three goals, and all the blokes that we’re at the pub screaming with me at the umpires 😂

What a game this was my dees played well but port played better in my opinion you could say that it’s the umps fault but really ports conversion was not the best last night. Also love seeing teams play at the Adelaide oval it’s like a olden day footy crowd always screaming and booing at the umps either way great game up the dees

Helluva game but the umpiring was terrible. Holding the ball doesn't exist. Sparrow goal in the 4th comes off Ben Brown being tackled and losing ball that should've been holding the ball (conveniently left out of the highlights). ANB runs with the ball in the Demons F50, gets tackled, should have been pinged (can't remember if led to a goal). Yet another "mark" out of bounds... AFL needs to fix this

Umpiring again on display here and not for positive reasons. Port had their chances and dominated most areas of the ground yet couldn't convert to consistent scores. Melbourne was more efficient going inside 50 and getting scores from those possessions. Other than the typical poor umpiring it was a good game to watch between two teams you would expect to be in the top 8.
