I can’t believe I’ve never seen your channel before. Great video, good mix of family, tips, and slaying fish!!!! My buddy brought me some gulf red snapper and it is an amazing fish to eat (sharks think so too 😅)

Thanks Dan-O! Spade fish tasted amazing too. Very white and flaky. They’re hard to catch with such tiny mouths….even that one got hooked in the forehead. It was our first. Reese cup is tha bomb dot com for sure. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday as well my friend! See ya next time

Gotta like those calm, warm sunrise dayz.....and a hot bite especially when it involves a Slam......Water pressure is called Hydostatic = 1 atmosphere per 33 feet of depth!!😎👀🎣

Thanks Wes! Next trip we’ll box more snapperz before going deep. Not finding live baits with the sabiki hurt. This was the first time I couldn’t find em….and it stung a bit Days like these are few and far between…nothing like a trip back to port with a light wind, following sea and a box full o feesh…just don’t get no better…. 😎🇺🇸 Thanks for dropping a line. Seee ya on the next one.

Oh man, that dolphin 🐬 is awesome…. I’d love to go fish with y’all like that. Never been out fishing on the ocean. Great show. The blue runner I think u called it was awesome looking. 🙏 Love your boat. Hate litter bugs

Those freeloading dolphins really made us work! Blue runners have a bad rap as table fare but if I bleed them they don’t taste fishy/gamey even a little. Ranger Boat has been good to us, funny story how I got that boat too. Maybe one of these days I’ll share. I’m normally not the show-stopping tree hugger type but when I see a turtle eating plastic w/ my own eyes I can’t help but cry out for them. That turtle’s shell was prolly 24” across….hard to miss even in the middle of the Gulf

Looked like a great day! Carson looked like he was freezing on the way out. My wife said "He's so stinking cute"! I see you are growing your beard back. Getting ready for the winter? Nice variety of fish. Offshore 41.6 miles in a bay boat, I'm glad it was a calm day!. That fish descending rig is pretty cool. I'll have to check it out. I'm hoping to get out next Saturday. Ramiro was on vacation in Dominican Republic last week so I didn't get to go out this weekend. Great video....Keep 'em coming! By the way, I'm craving a Blizzard now!😄

Thanks Tommy! Carson was dressed like he was ready to invade an Eskimo camp for sure. Beard is back until it becomes high maintenance then it’ll be gone again I suppose. We def ran ol Ranger Boat good. Prolly put 110-115 miles on it round trip. It’s 7 miles one way just to get to the mouth of the inlet from the ramp we use. That fish descending device takes a little more effort and it takes a rod out of commission but I’ve had zero fish float back up….can’t say same for venting tool. Excited to see what you and Ramiro get into when he comes back!! Love yalls fishing adventures over there. Hope to join you in 2023. I want to get on some of those monsta snookz!

Nice catch and views Bro 🤙🏼 the water is definitely amazing down there. I think It’s called Barometric pressure.a long time ago DQ had a blizzards. I don’t think think it’s even on the menu any more. It’s called a tropical blizzard. It had vanilla ice cream with pineapple, coconut and pecans. NO chocolate lol. 🤷‍♂️

That was a beautiful outing. I liked how you released those smaller snappers down to the bottom. That could be a great technique over here for Lake Trout that are too small! That dolphin by the boat is really cool!! Amazing how the Grey Taxman came and took his share of the red snapper 😮 lol. Great video!
@fishing4dinner
@fishing4dinner 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Henri-Vine! I didn’t get any film of the bigger snappers going back. The weight used in this video was 4oz. Those bigger snappers needed 10oz of weight to sink them back down. Hated to see them go but season was closed for them when we’re over 9nm from shore. The descending device is very handy if you’re bringing them up from 50’ or more and you see signs of barotrauma (bloating). Those dolphins were relentless and never left our side.…rascals! Daggum taxman always comes to take ‘his’ cut….

Y'all are definitely next level angler's! Y'all would make a killin' with a family guide service! That reel sounded like half of mine lol! I love the demonstration of the safe release. I learned something new! Also, its unreal how much people still litter in this day in age!!
@fishing4dinner
@fishing4dinner 2 жыл бұрын
Too kind Eric! As for reels or any other equipment….the salt has a way of exposing all the weak links. This was a fun trip to run out deeper than usual. We learned a lot and will be better prepared next time The fish defending device sure is handy when fish show signs of barotrauma (bulging eyes, inverted stomach, etc). Many use a venting tool which is faster but if you’re not carful it’s easy to puncture something other than the air bladder

Fishing is still strong down there. Our water temp is 56°F now. Not as easy to catch fish here north east now. That freeloader dolphin was cool.
@fishing4dinner
@fishing4dinner 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Fishy Angler! Freeloader 🤣🤣🤣 I had more I wanted to say about him too but checked my filter When the air and water temps cool off down here the fishing gets HOT. Lots of transitioning going on. This trip was more about exploring and trying to find a grouper. Too many red snapper!!! I bet we caught 30+ If we ever get some rain down here we’ll be setting some crab traps and show how we do it here. Your last blue crab vid was 🔥🔥🔥

What a phenomenal video buddy. Your a offshore Pro… love watching your offshore adventures. What an amazing sunrise on your way to your fishing spot. That was a crazy catch you had two at one time, that was so cool. And that spade fish was really interesting,man that dolphin was just ready for a free meal haha.. What is state waters I’m not familiar with that term, since most of my fishing occurs off the shore / surf. Dairy Queen that’s a “Texas Stop Sign” my friend, got to have the oreo blizzard yummy 😋 Keep the awesome vids coming my friend ✌️
@fishing4dinner

Appreciate your kind words Rey. Spade fish tasted sooo good too. Seen a bunch of em out there but never got one in the boat. Great question! There is an invisible boundary that runs parallel with the Texas coastline that is 9 nautical miles offshore…inside 9nm is state water. Farther than 9nm is federal water…federal law regulates snapper bag limits where Texas has authority within 9nm. Oreo blizzards are great! Truth be told I never had a blizzard I didn’t like
