Port Chester FD Rescue 40, Tower Ladder 2, Car 2392 (Spare), & Engine 64 Responding

Port Chester Fire Department Rescue 40, Tower Ladder 2, Car 2392 (using Utility 67 as a spare), and Engine 64 responding to water leaking through an electrical outlet on Treetop Crescent in The Arbors Complex in Rye Brook, New York. Engine 62 from the Port Chester Fire Department and Engine 14 from the Rye Brook Fire Department also responded to this call, but are not seen in this video. Car 2392 reported power had been shut to the affected appliance and all Port Chester and Rye Brook units went back into service.
The units seen responding are:
Rescue 40 - 2019 Pierce Arrow XT
Tower Ladder 2 - 2020 Seagrave Capitol/Aerialscope (95FT MM)
Utility 67 - 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe
Engine 64 - 1999 Pierce Lance II (1500GPM/500GWT)

Well... Water & electric is not a good mix so it's considered a emergency response.

I've always been surprised at how responses differ from region to region. For example a lot of departments respond to gas leaks priority. My department on the other hand doesn't, we send our paid driver alone priority 3.

I mean water coming threw an electrical outlet seems like a bad combination, almost like something that could spark and start a fire if someone doesn’t get there quick and figure out the problem 🤷🏻‍♂️

I would have thought that the only action to take is to switch off the power at the mains, something that would happen automatically in Australia where it is law to have earth leakage breakers.

Would be a single vehicle response in Oz, where an earth leakage breaker would have already cut the power. More something for an electrician.
