Nice shots of what is mostly no longer reality. Great video as always! At 3:37 you can see 7005, the one Dorrigo “allegedly” vandalised.

Hi Griffin, this one is a bit of a shaky wreck, but I thought it would be a good way of showing what is coming up. We visited Port Kembla on 3 occasions, this one is where Peter took the camera for a quick run around. The full stable 70 class video is coming up in the next month. The 7005 story of the alleged vandalism sounds interesting.

@@trainspottingwithbarrie From what I can tell, RTM was getting 7005 and Dorrigo was getting the Reverse liveries one and the other one they have. (Can’t remember the numbers off the top of my head sorry) Dorrigo REALLY wanted 7005, and since it and the Reverse 70 were the only 2 operational, they were quite desireable. One day some plant walked in with a hammer, smashed out every window in 7005 and took all spare parts for the 70 class. Next morning some person was spotted mysteriously returning the parts after the police swept the place, and the jig was up. 7005 was deemed destroyed and RTM got the last laugh. They received the Reverse 70 and Dorrigo got the duds.

Hard to believe that such underhanded action would take place, you think they would all work together hey.
