Like Debe, Siparia and other surrounding areas. San Fernando have seen a little bit of development.

Construction is still ongoing but it has slowed down considerably since 2010. A lot, however, is going on in the southern part of the island. There are plans to build a southern waterfront.

I think there is a halt to the big Government buildings. However, private enterprise continue to fuel construction. A 14 story Radisson Hotel is being constructed right now close to Crowne Plaza. As well, there are designs/proposals in place for a new Salvatori tower, Invaders Bay project and Sea Lots drydock project. Like the previous Govt.the current is focused on POS redevelopment through UDECOTT.

Are they building any new skyscrapers? Or has construction halted due to credit crunch? I haven't been home in a year and a half :( Thanks!
