Yuh know, we have such beauty in our country, but, yet still most of us don't even take that time to appreciate it.

Another vlog that brought back memories of my time in Trinidad. My mother have family in Grande, and I remember us visiting when I was a kid. I don't remember much except that they had a sour cherry tree and a plum tree and it was the highlight of my time visiting. The other memory is early morning trips from Chase Village to Valencia with my Uncle to get gravel. Leaving home at 430AM to get there on time to get a load. He used to pull from a place call St. Albans and another quarry close to National Quarries. Those were some times for sure and seeing those dump trucks on the road was a reminder how crazy those days used to be. Getting loaded was another grand experience, especially when he was getting river wash right from the river with those cranes. You also pointed out Blue Mountain water, that owner moved to Orlando, his daughter married a family friend son. Oh and don't point at the cemetery, or your finders will fall out and we had to bite them... Geez, the amount of nonsense them old folks used to say to us... lol. Nevertheless it added to the experience of living their. I also appreciate this vlog for another reason, I remember when we were coming back from Grande/Valencia we used to turn off the main road to one of those side roads to get to the highway going back home to Chase Village, so now after all these years I know see what this eastern main road looks like on the back end and all those towns. Totally love seeing Trinidad in your vlogs especially places I have NEVER seen before. Thanks, great job as always.

Hello again Dave & thanks once more for viewing & sharing! St Albans quarry is still operational - it is about 13:20 into the video. May take a drive into those side roads someday. Yes, agreed quite a few superstitions about cemeteries! The road to get back to the highway is around 21:45 in the video. Glad you are enjoying the drives! 😊💯👍
