World Wide Flora and Fauna (WWFF) activation of the Wyrrabalong National Park (VKFF-0550) located on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Activation on Saturday 5 August 2023 operating on 40m (7.031 MHz) and 20m (14.065 MHz and 14.058 MHz).

Where's all the audio distortion coming from on the incoming c.w. signal?

The audio from the internal speaker of my radio distorts with strong CW signals. I have not seen this issue with other IC-705s so it seems to be an issue with my radio. The problem is reduced or eliminated by reducing the volume or using headphones, 73

@@vk2ter guess it probably makes the cw easier to read when its square wave. Had receiver audio distortion on my ft817 forced me to get rid..dont think i ll go for a 705 now lol.
