I’m disabled from Lyme disease (right leg is numb making it difficult to walk). I can’t walk for long periods of time due to muscle atrophy, so this would be great. My balance is just fine, despite the numbness. This stems like such a great idea! Would you recommend for someone who NEEDS to sit after a while? Or do you still have to use quite a bit of effort to sit?

Try the Minimax telescopic stool^^ They are cheaper. I have something similar, where I can't walk or stand for longer periods of time. And I am happy I have bought the Minimax. Although, they have one weakpoint...you can not lean to one side, while sitting on them. I just broke one of these chairs yesterday, because I had to lean to one side to make space for a stupid person who was pushing herself through a big crowd. But constantly replacing them can't be a permanent solution, despite their cheap price

Its a waste of M$$$$!. Chairs of this similar design, are in reality leaning seats. You must constently be conscious of holding yourself erect and centered. If you are tired or relax too much, you will fall off. Get one that will really let you RELAX! I found this out the hard way, with 3 different brands. They are all the same. Useless if you really want to relax.
