@@GY6outdoors I thought I would mention...I bought the Hyperheater, but returned it. The reason was because if I am only taking 2 gallon hot showers while using the Rinsekit Pro this is an easier and much cheaper option. (boondocking so need to conserve water so 2 gallon shower is plenty) I just use my colemen gas stove....put 2 gallons of water in a pot. It takes only 8 - 10 minutes to get it to 105 degrees...shower temp even with water in the 50 degree range. Water in the 70 degree range would take only 5 minutes to heat up to shower temp. Then after warming up to shower temp... I pour it into the Rinsekit Pro for my shower. The Hyperheater is not needed for this reason. Most of us will have a gas stove handy anyway...and a gas one burner is fine and the same weight and size of a hyperheater basically. You still have to pour the water in the Rinsekit pro anyway...so putting it into a pot is nothing. Hopefully that makes sense. No reason to be so impatient to have to have hot water instantly rather than waiting 8-10 minutes to heat up in my opinion. Also, most everyone using the hyperheater will need to preheat the water to get it to shower temp anyway. Let me know your thoughts... I love the idea and coolness factor of the hyperheater...but the hassle of lugging it around, setting it up, etc....not needed since most all of us have a gas stove with the same small propane tank hooked up to anyway. Now if I am trying to impress a hot chick on a date...yes, the hyperheater might make the difference to get her to like me. Otherwise, it really is a waste of money since the stove is easier...just takes a few minutes longer to heat up, but much less time needed to set up.

I’m the Marine Corps I learned that if you take a cold shower in the winter once you put your clothes on you are really warm.
@GY6outdoors4 ай бұрын
hahaha depends on how cold it is around you, the reason you're warm from a cold shower is because your body is dumping core blood to your extremities to keep them warm, feels warm, but can cause hypothermia MUCH FASTER due to core temperature drop.

Really cool video, Andrew! That "Hyperheater" seems legit for sure!

That Water Heater looks like a great option for a small Camper Van etc. Thanks as always for the straight up honest review. 👍

Yes it would be a GREAT option for a water heater in the travel van, camper, etc... Thanks for watching and appreciate your support

I agree as one who does alot of plumbing having all plastic parts is not good. They are saving cost by making it plastic probably for a higher profit margin

Well done 👍 So the Rinse Kit Pro is proving the pump/pressurized water to the Hyperheater? The connections on the Hyperheater appear to be the std quick disconnect type, so perhaps you could replace the plastic hose/connections with an all new hose with metal connections from Ace/Lowe’s/Home Depot?
@GY6outdoors Жыл бұрын
Yes it is. And yes you could, but for how much you’re paying, you shouldn’t have to

So i want to pull the trigger on the hyper heater. Any major fails over the last 10 months? Thank you

The Hyper Heater is AWESOME still! The Rinsekit works well, but damn you dont have a lot of time at all before the water is empty(Don't recommend that product unless you have a lot of extra water on hand)

Is it possible to pick-up metal connections from your local hardware store to make things right ? Thanks for sharing

The fittings do not seem to be replaceable without replacing the whole hose.

This seems very cumbersome and takes up a-lot of storage space for what it does. Hike crew or bouegerv dont req two boxes to have a shower - only a bucket or jug.

How long will the water last with the shower head that comes with the heater? I just got the pro and also get roughly three minutes on shower setting.
@GY6outdoors4 ай бұрын
same amount of time as the rinsekit full review video showed(Link for that video is in the description) it runs out of water VERY VERY FAST and the numbers on their website are VERY wrong. The water is being pumped from the Rinsekit into the hyper heater, the hyper heater is just the heater.

The Hyper Heater looks a whole lot like the Hike Crew Portable heater and shower
@GY6outdoors Жыл бұрын
Never heard of it. I’ll look into it
@chrisfloyd1014 Жыл бұрын
@@GY6outdoors the only difference is the Hike Crew version comes with its own pump where as the Rinsekit version doesn’t have its own external pump

So the water heater makes the rinskit tank a little more appealing...Definitely better than a black bag of water hanging in the sun lol

Sooooo much nicer! Don’t get me wrong I love me a solar shower, better than freezer cold water…but this Hyperheater is insane!

You mentioned that the screen has all the labels already on it, it kind of looks like it has one of the plastic films on it to protect the screen, take that off and the screen will probably be clear after that.
@GY6outdoors Жыл бұрын
I thought the same thing…but that film didn’t want to come off and didn’t feel like wrecking it just in case
