Suggestions: the jump at 7:56 could be made more casual-friendly if you add those repulsion gel panels in the acid. Make sure that strafing is still faster. make ladders more easy to climb, and make the gel bounce at 7:15 more fluid add a metal bar in the orange portal platform at 12:22 Add red arrows and other scribbles in the style of Doug Rattman to help guide the way through In the part where you have just put down the portal gun, add some bars on the walls in a diagonal staircase style so people who put down the gun too early can recover, or just set their blue portal location to above the pit a second after they put down the gun.

Could you imagine if the plot was reversed too: Wheatley tries his best to repair the facility, but the power bills are too much for him, so he tasks Chell to go down to Old Aperture and shut down everything. Chell makes her way down to the old test chambers, unsolving the tests and shutting down the gel machines. Chell leaves PotatOS behind, and makes her way back to the wreckage, where Wheatley conveniently left an elevator down for Chell to take up to his room. Wheatley decides to retire from being in charge, so he gives control to GlaDOS, who then states that the turret production needs to be repaired, so Chell proceeds to the factory, replacing a broken turret with a functional one, Chell then resets some more test chambers until she makes her way to the incinerator room, where she leaves the dual portal device behind. GLaDOS then reaches down the shaft, grabbing Chell and pulling her back to the surface. GlaDOS decides that everyone should take a nap, so she shuts down. Chell and Wheatley make their way back through some abandoned test chambers, putting everything back. Chell finally returns to her relaxation room, taking a quick bathroom break, before returning to her bed, resting for an unpreceded amount of time.

Whee. Now I wanna see something like this for Portal 1 as well.

Here's the thing about Portal 2. Canonically, at the end of the game, Wheatley has pushed the facility to it's devastating collapse. 3:31 wait I have a theory on how this could work canonically Think about it: at around that point in the game, Wheatley was panicking and trying as hard as possible to get you to come back. Keeping in mind the he has control of the whole facility, the funnel probably got reversed while he was panicking trying to get you to come back. 13:05 This could also make sense because the cube dropped could've broke, because since wheatley is still managing the facility he doesn't exactly know how to keep the cube droppers open. Either that or he didn't want to use the energy of keeping that cube dropper closed so he turned it off in order to cut some corners on the electricity bill.

12:36 Seriously? I put the gun down immediately, and then i was stuck. I thought "huh, maybe i need to shoot up there first then put it down?" (i.e. thought of the correct solution) but since i was unable to pick up the portal gun again, i assumed this was not correct. Why am i allowed to put the portal gun down before shooting this portal? Why am i not allowed to pick it back up? I just thought it was broken, so i skipped that little part.

9:25 This was the only part of the game i outright skipped because i couldn't solve it. I managed to get up the first 3 ladders, but i had just ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA where to go from there? I couldn't go to the catwalk, and the only other way was to the left into that open box thing. Of course, it's not open according to the collider, and the only other thing i could think of was jumping to the tube near the center, which i couldn't do either.

Hey sorry if I pissed you off with my last comment, but I did finish the mod. Most of the levels were pretty easy but some of them were actually really interesting puzzles that I loved solving! Core was a bit unfair though, I had to noclip just to even find the spot to place a portal on because it was outside my FOV. But I did figure out the lineup and beat it legit. Cool mod, and I never knew you could make a mod without changing the map files but just a mapspawn script, impressive!

4:49 If you go to the left at the start of this level (into the locked door), the trigger for Wheatley normally resetting the level activates. The cube is fizzled and as such i never realized i was even supposed to use the cube! Also, the vertical platform seems to be single-use? The second time for me it just went down immediately, before it reached the top, and then it never worked again. My solution was to go to the BTS part where you shoot from, and place a portal there, then go back around into the level, and all the way back to the "TEST" part, and shoot another portal here. I then jumped through it and to the right, and shot a portal through the tiny hole in the air. I then went back to the "TEST" area again and assuming the platform was just broken, i noclipped up. I suppose with the cube, this unintended solution could also be done without cheats.
