doggo On the Internet well velociraptors are theorized to have been a common ancestor for birds. Maybe she might try to revers the change. Though to be fair maybe all she would hav to reverse it to is terror beaks. They are basically prehistoric murder ostriches. Their beaks were a very good for stabbing and they could practically kill anything at the time if it got a well placed peck. However other hunting animals had other advantages like stealth ( early cats) pack hunting ( early wolfs) and they also were poorly adapted to the freezing climate. Basically all they were good at was murder and that lead to their downfall. However Glados would love to keep something like that as a weapon.

I'll never get over just how great a character GLaDOS actually is. She's a cold, calculating man-hating machine of sadistic death, but at the same time one can easily end up feeling more than a little sorry for her. There are so many sides to her personality, the nuances of which shine through her otherwise hostile facade during the course of Portal 2 -- many of them being both relatable and in some cases good! And then there's emotional (tragic) little things during the time you spend with her as PotatOS that hint to the character's complexity, such as that time when GLaDOS purely on what I can only call instinct, attempts to acknowledge Cave Johnson when he addresses Caroline in his recordings -- and her subsequent confusion when she realizes this herself. One might wonder if her artificial brain would indeed be able to develop insanity from the things that she's been exposed to & the loneliness associated with it. That, and although she supposedly deleted Caroline from her system -- something I suspect was just a front to scare Chell so she wouldn't return, GLaDOS appears to me much like a lost child trying to make sense of what she's meant to do (her programming) and what she knows she should be doing (as Caroline), in a world known to her only through her databases and memory systems. A world she's never actually seen. I think the DLC ending only validates what I think about GLaDOS' character; she speaks to the chicks exactly the same way she spoke to Chell. She NEEDS someone to keep her company by any way possible -- someone whose mind she cannot control, a random variable in an otherwise dull and predictable world. And I suspect that is why she carried on 'testing' as soon as Chell & Wheatley accidentally woke her up. More to the point, she actually only outright tried to kill Chell as a desperate measure to stop her reaching GLaDOS' room again & killing her a second time -- probably because the AI had to endure the replay of her 'black box' feature over and over again for 50-odd years. It was fear; GLaDOS panicked! GLaDOS is an absolutely amazingly well-crafted character, and I think it's the fact that she is so complicated (or corrupted, as her monitoring and maintenance system suggested) that makes her such an utterly terrifying villain; she has all the complex emotions and rationale of an actual person, but with virtually limitless power & a touch of madness.

toxicwaste4454 It's hard to tell, because playing Portal 2, the body looks different, but then again the whole facility looks different, I mean I get that it blew up, but it looks way too different. Apparently there's a inbetween-quel game coming out on Steam that explains what happened between Portal 1 and 2, so maybe Wheatley's story about a "guy" killing GLaDOS holds any water, especially since they re-did the ending to Portal 1 by having a robot drag you back to Aperture and possibly repairing GLaDOS.
