I am obviously late to this party. Good music doesn't care. Joss Stone engaged Jocelyn Brown in a very healthy challenge of backing vocals vs lead vocals and both did better than a "know your place" mentality would have created. I found this beautiful and inspiring.The music should always be more important than your ego if you are a serious musician. Both Jocelyns know this from their toes to their fingertips and to their core. Watching this performance was a privilege.

This is legendary! I always come back to this song, this video by J & J ( Jocelyn Brown and Joss Stone). Just to think, Jocelyn is SITTING DOWN and all of the power is coming out of her voice. The harmonies, arrangement, band, energy, synchronicity and just pure talent from ALL parties involved just move it. When Jocelyn says " Ain't no mountain, aint no valley" and just expresses her love for Joss and says that she is her sister and they go back and forth just keeps me smiling!
