I watched the first few seconds of this and immediately burst into tears - I discovered Porter 5 years ago at a really rough time in my life and then just this past summer I watched EoE and it literally fucked me up so badly (in a good way I guess) that I can’t watch anime anymore. I was just thinking about how these two things would go together so well, and especially now, as the world is really dying, it hits. Thank you for making this!!!

I feel the same way. I watched eva this past year and no anime's themes hit as hard. I think its good i experience it, but like you I got fucked up. I fell into a whole where I chased the feeling by watching more shows. I chased a high of depression of feelings alone, abandoned, and want that whole to be filled. Idk when i will get out, but hopefully soon

@@expertvideo8932 i totally get you. i'd suggest watching studio ghibli films to get yourself out. interestingly enough, hideaki anno and hayao miyazaki are actually good friends and anno animated part of Nausicaa. i think they're almost like two sides of a similar coin (In terms of personality).

Asuka is such a tragic character. She just wanted to be as good as Shinji could be but never was. She died trying and in a horrible way. She just wanted people to find her useful.
