Day 679: Today I was sent to help in the warehouse. First helped clean the floor, read procedures, stored some pieces, then helped taking inventory. Day 766: Had my mom over today! Went running before she came, cleaned my bird’s cage, called my bro, then we went out to buy me a new jacket, and drove towards the mountains to go camping tonight! We got to stop at a lake, and went on a good hike tonight before eating at the local restaurant of a small village here in the mountains! Also we found a shelter up there during the hike. It was clean, with a saw, a wood stove and two books in which a lot of people who slept there in the past ten years wrote about their journey!! I had no clue this kind of stuff still existed and was still respected… I find that just so awesome.

I listened to this song like crazy when I was packing up at 18 to move out. I'm 23 now and today is the first time in a very long time I took the time to listen to this song, and I got so emotional. It was a bit nostalgic of course, but the lyrics just take on such a different meaning now than they did for me then. My mom moved states last summer and just when I thought I'd gotten over it this song came and stabbed me right in the feels. She's always been a safe haven for me, supportive, warm, and always knows how to give me just the advice I need, even when it's advice I don't want or understand at the time. She was my shelter, and it's still a struggle figuring out what it means to make shelter for myself sometimes. I'm glad to know this brings out these feelings in others the way it does for me. Being an adult is terrifying, but loving others, sharing your life and passions with them, supporting them, and simply being a place where they can be their authentic selves relieves so much of life's pressures. I'm not religious, but I feel really blessed in my life, just having learned how enriching it is to have a sense of community. Hold your loved ones close.

Day 619: Not a happy message for today. A Belgium KZbinr which I watched in the past and absolutly enjoyed watching went missing for almost a week. Today his body was found in a river... He sadly died, most likely suicide or an accident with his car. I wish his family the best in this rough time, and I really hope this guy found his peace again, because he had some though problems. *Day 1385/2578:* Even though I had to spend 4 hours of my life in band today for a school county gig, I actually had some fun. I would listen to it every day on my way to her place, and really just appreciate how incredibly lucky I was to have someone like that in my life. A year later, we break up, and I`m completely devastated.
