Shelter has for a very long time been a favorite video of mine. Not just because the song is amazing but the video, the story they tell is so amazing. I cried the first couple times I watched it because its so sad but also so touching because the dad just did whatever he could think of to save his little girl. Also as an American I had someone else explain to me that they were walking around celebrating holidays at the wrong time because he just wanted her to experience that fun holiday tradition one last time before the world ended.

I’m not 100% but I think the video is about an apocalyptic event that’s happening to the world and everyone dies, but her father is a scientist who created a pod able to save her and keep her alive in a kinda stasis, a forever sleep but loaded with memories in like a dream world for her to live on. It’s so sad the music is lovely!
