For the lead in sad machine you could’ve just used the sforzando (sorry if I misspelled that) and choose brightness (or if you use FL use fruity lsd)

How modified are your presets from what you show in this video? I bought the sample back based on the positive reviews in the comments, but trying to use the sounds you show in here is giving me much different results. I was able to notice some features were slightly different compared to your screen (which were quick fixes), but the sound is still vastly different. I tried using Flicker III first, and it sounds completely bit crushed. Mono and 2 notes are fine, but 3 notes simultaneously completely destroys the sound. Do you have any videos specifically going in depth on the presets? It's a great video, and amazing work, but the sample pack is leaving me slightly disappointed so far.

for flicker; before the drop he has a buildup using the same chords but they are kind of filtered(starts at 1:10 in the song). do you have any idea how to achieve that effect?

Hi Peter! I was wondering how do you manage to get such beefy bass sounds without the use of additional plugins? For instance the 'Bass - Goodbye to a World' on your "Flicker" remake preset sounds exceptional big. I also noticed you have an additional track/auxiliary/bus titled "trigger" that seems to add that pump/compression effect; how does that work? I will probably end up buying your preset pack, but I want to learn how to get better at sound design as well. You're a great learning source!

Hey man, it's all about post processing in the Serum's effect section, using right wavetable, adjusting LFO shapes, layering oscilators. Adding distortion, chorus, compression and that sort of things. I make sounds instinctively, so can't tell how I made that exact preset. Also here is the link to sidechain tutorial you ask about: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5TClXSBlJh0eMk Enjoy!

Don't hate me but i couldn't figure out anywhere on your youtube channel how to message you directly. where has your video gone on how to make the telephone ring tone. I remember it was two square waves in frequency modulation but I can't seem to replicate it properly now and I'm guessing the octaves incorrectly and I cannot find that video anywhere in your list and I think I'm going crazy. Did you delete it?

Oh yeah, needed to update the channel description, thanks for reminding! I mean there are IG, Soundcloud and e-mail you can use to message me. But anyways. Took a screenshot for you: imgur.com/a/5oGewsa And yeah, that video was cringy af, so I had to..

Can anyone explain to me why I can't modify my LFO to the same extent? It seems like when I adjust one tail end of the LFO it moves the other end with it. They're not independent. All other points in between I can adjust independently. It's just the start and end points.
@Oversampled5 жыл бұрын
Thats the way it works, but you can simply double-click on grid to add another point and move that point instead The start and end points are connected and I guess there is nothing we can do about it. I think they've programmed it this way to prevent sound from 'clicking'
