Another one: 1. Stephen is the original prop by Buster Keaton that was bought from scrap by the Fat Director in 1925. The engine ran tours around Tidmouth until the mid 30's when he was withdrawn until the depression ended. The engine became heavily damaged by the weather and other mishandlings over the years sadly and was moved to a country side shed where he was hidden to avoid being hit by the Nazi's in WW2. He was eventually found and restored by the Duke of Sodor Robert Norramby in 1980 for his new estate in Ulfstead where he remains till this day. 2. The engines are aware of brands like Bob the Builder and Fireman Sam. During the 2000s in all three franchises' prime, the engines were indifferent to them, but some liked to think of them as friendly rivals. In present day, the engines do look back fondly on the brands seeing their somewhat niche status. 3. Edward had a brass dome until his rebuild in 1952/3. 4. Gordon was rebuilt at three places. First at Doncaster to become an A3 but retained the original dome and funnel shape, but also got the 6 wheeled tender. Next at Crewe where he received the running plate, dome (Clive Spong style), and valve gear. Finally at Crovan's Gate where he got his square buffers. 5. Toad has a black face as per the RWS, but its molded as per Annie and Clarabel. 6. Other rolling stock with this face is older trucks and coaches, Henrietta, Elsie and Victoria.

Headcanon dump: the pilot at Tidmouth mpd is a GWR 56xx. Fergus had been on the nwr since 1887. S&M number 3 was scrapped in 1912.

Yea I feel like all the events that feature the narrow gauge engines (particularly Skarleoy and Rheneas) would make more sense if they happened when they were the first and only two engines on the Skarleoy railway. And some of the lord like the storms taking place at the same time and the evens of old stuck up also make a lot of sense
