If I may, here's some more of mine: 1. Thomas greatly admires Terriers. He and Boxhill did work together on the LB&SCR and formed a good friendship. When the Half Engine worked on Sodor, Thomas did form a familial bond with her, until she snapped (more on that later). Thomas was excited when he heard about a Terrier coming to Sodor in 1962, but was disappointed when he discovered it was Stepney. He still decided to give him a chance though, but before he could meet him the events of Stepney's Special/Thomas & Stepney happened, which of course infuriated Thomas. Stepney thought that Thomas didn't realize they were from the same railway and cousins at that. Truth was, Thomas did realize, but didn't care after what had happened. The two did make amends though as seen in the story. Thomas of course later meet up with Boxhill (or Box as he called him) in 1990 at the NRM. 2. Thomas and the Half Engine did form a bond, as stated earlier. He tried to stand up for her as much as he could and be there for her, but all the stress and pain was too much, which caused her to snap. He was devastated when she had to be scrapped and carried a lot of guilt when her ghost started to haunt other engines. He still wishes to find her ghost someday and make amends. 3. The abandoned Hawin Lake Branch Line is located off a junction in between Kellsthorpe and Crovan's Gate. It was in operation from 1920 - 1923. It was run by 4 engines during its time: Neil, the former S&M No. 2, Lennie, originally an LNER Y14 engine numbered 1020 who worked on the main line from until 1921, Lady, a reddish freelance designed tank engine, and a Crovan's Gate built engine based off an LSWR 0298 class tank engine named Hawin after the branch. The branch was closed after a horrific accident involving Lennie and a passenger train. Hawin was lost shortly afterwards. Neil was sold off before the branch was closed, but was bought by the Vicarstown museum years later. Lady was also bought but is unknown where she is today.

I wonder if someone acquired any of Rebecca's parts to build a replica/rebuild of her, similar to Tornado or the Unknown Warrior (an LMS patriot).

Something I have enjoyed doing in my au is describing the start AND end of a character. So for example thomas, was a contract build, not helping build the railway and being built after gordon. And his story ends with the grandson of the cleaner/ firelighter who had meddled with his controls had done the same, except this time thomas hadn't any water. And since he had been lit and had his regulator opened hours before the crew came, he had died of a boiler explosion. It's not final I may change some details later but I'm very proud of what I've come up with!

I always found the animosity Thomas had towards Stepney to be interesting(albeit not exactly out of character lol). I thought it was interesting that Thomas was given the number LBSC 70 in the adventure begins. The real LBSCR 70 was the terrier "Poplar" that survived into preservation on the KESR. This would imply that a terrier was duplicate listed to make room on the roster for Thomas. In reality, "Poplar" was sold to the KESR as their #3 Bodiam, about 10 years before Thomas was even built. I always saw the potential for an interesting dynamic between the Stroudley A1s and E1s and later Billington E2s. The former were seemingly much more succesful even though all classes survived until the 1960s. The terriers were very succesful at push-pull working while the E2s were found to be poorly suited for it. The E2s were built to supplement and replace the older E1 tanks, but were found to be less versatile than these older machines.

The whole Hospitality rocket thing doesnt really make sense, that replica was made for like 3 foot and wasn’t an actual locomotive, other than that its a neat idea.
