I recently traveled by Rajdhani, Mumbai to N Delhi. Very comfortable and clean. Good service. Lower class fares are too low. Bus tickets are way costly and unaffordable. IR gives better comfort and safety as also faster travel options. A government cannot be run on corporate lines. It is wrong to criticize . Why don't the critics contest elections? Jai Bharat 🙏

Sandip Ji is absolutely right. All the other trains 2nd AC & 3rd AC coaches have gone very bad. Vande Bharat is at the cost of all other train services. In addition, Vande Bharat's food is repetitive, bad and boring.

Pallavi is still in a time wrap that Railways is an employment agency for Biharis. The railway ministry should be kept out from anyone from Bihar and Bengal for that matter. Already we have disproportionately large Bihari presence in the ministry. Andhras will of course be disappointed with Ashwini as Railway Minister. For 5 years he and other Odisha MPs have stalled the operationalising the Visakhapatnam Railway Zone Five Years or More After It Was Announced. Hope this time on it will be done. We personally are unhappy with Nirmal Sitharaman being retained in BJP cabinet as Finance Minister. Her policies have destroyed Middle Class. She is arrogant and always in Denial and Defensive mode, gets away with counter attack taking no accountability for suffering of Common Man.The price of common commodities and basic cost of living have sky rocketed and depleted the savings. No Regulation on School fees by Government either. If BJP has her as Finance Minister again and inflation continues, Middle Class has to reconsider voting for BJP in power next time.

15:50 Sandip Ghose is right. Trains other than Vande Bharat and to some extent Rajdhani have become worse. They have reduced sleeper bogies and added third AC and second AC bogies on most trains. As there are only two general bogies, general bogie people overcrowd the sleeper bogies and in some situations, third AC bogies too. What is the point of paying for reservation when you can't even travel comfortably? There's not even enough space to go to toilet if its urgent as all the general bogie people block the pathway.
