Some of my happiest days as a kid were my holidays in Porthcawl in a caravan it was fabulous lots of kids to play with too and sandpits next to each caravan a haven for kids with a cinema too

A chance meeting with an old gentleman in 2016 who informed me that all this land was bequeathed to the public for recreation with a restrictive covenant to prevent any building set me off on a quest to discover for myself the truth. My gut feeling was right ! I knew about the LRA 2002 so obtained all deeds and leases recorded at Land Registry, and shocked to find they’d recently acquired new deeds through the LRAct in 2017, copies are shown in the video. Pause to see all names included therein. Old newspaper articles indicate that individuals had been bickering over this land for generations,claiming ownerships but the court’s dismissed all claims, the care of the area falling on PUDC. A 1943 OS map shows no camp sites across Newton Burrows as it was called then.

I always thought that many of the caravans were owned by local people. I've just heard someone who doesn't own a caravan on the site wanting to have it all for himself. It's time to get the Welsh media on the case. The whole of South Wales is about to loose it's best seaside resort. Barry Island is a dump and so is Aberavon. Tenby is nice but lacks facilities. I've a feeling that many residents aren't fully aware of whats blatently going on. The majority of South Wales people probably haven't a clue what's going on and must be told before it's too late. Swansea is exploding with massive developments finance by the private sector. The population must not grow because it's not that sort of town. When the Docks closed in 1900 this should have been a disaster but no. 20 years later tens of thousands holidaymakers came to Porthcawl thanks to the railway infrastructure left by the docks. Then Beeching came along and closed the railway due to low ticket sales. WHAT? You don't get ticket sales from a destination ! They couldn't wait to rip up the track. I don't ANY holiday destination in the country had such a railway infrastructure. I don't think anyone had the gut to say anything about it and I'm thinking that's the same now. ALL PORTHCAWL BUSINESES MUST GET TOGETHER NOW. YES NOW. WITH THE SUPPORT OF COUNCILLORS AND ANYONE WITH THE GUTS TO SPEAK OUT. HOLD A PUBLIC MEETING ON SALT LAKE. DO IT NOW !

You’ll see that during that interview no mention is made of the reasons why the site exists namely the CPO in 48 for recreation, it would appear many of the facts and transactions from any records had been either conveniently forgotten over 17 years or kept secret and on a need to know basis, the fact that much of what I’m revealing was hidden away in a salt mine in Cheshire should give you a clue as to why it wasn’t common knowledge. The BOWL was intended as a football stadium and you have to feel for Bridgend football club in being duped into believing PUDC were genuine.

I resided at Blue water park for a while and Porthcawl was a nice walk across the dunes. What some councillors have done to the tourist economy is atrocious. Amenities that were for the good of the people has been destroyed by bigots that should never have been allowed near the town. I remember when they were mining the gravel , it was the excuse to close the touring parks and the fairground.

The rot has been building up for years , what can anyone do ? Jamie Wallis came to me suggesting a meeting ( at least his secretary did) cancelled twice, supposedly seen my videos but a refusal to act just shows me a fear for his career, the internet isn’t too kind to him.
