Porthleven

Traditionally a fishing village, Portleven's economy is now based around tourism.
The church at the beginning of this video is actually the town council offices.

Perfectly captured, a lovely little village. Best council offices I've ever seen. Saw people swimming as well, brave, it must have been freezing in there. That lone house along the coastline has a fantastic view, bit rough in storms I would imagine.

Thanks. Its a lovely small harbour village, but I imagine gets absolutely rammed in the summer holidays! Yeah, I could live with the views in that house, or even work in the council offices! Bet its bleak on a cold, wet, windy day though!

Its no longer used as a church, sadly. I think its used by the local town council. On a rough day, the waves often crash over onto the building!
