This video brought back great memories of my first trip across the pond to the UK. I played Porthmadog Golf Club twice while we were staying in Portmeirion, Wales. The views of Cardigan Bay and the Snowdonia Mountains were fantastic. I hope to play the course again in the future.

Portmeirion is gorgeous, as is all of Snowdonia, I’ll be back to play more courses in that area for sure, glad my video bought back some nostalgia for you!

Love the series. We play 3 in wales every year. The last two you played and royal st David’s. Last year when we played Porthmadog it had been baked in the sun for 20 days with no watering only on greens. The members told us it was unplayable. They were right😂 it was like playing off concrete for every shot. We were used putters from 50 years out lol I shot 27 over for a 17 hcp. Lots of fun but a hcp wrecker. Looking forward to your next video.

@@Gimme_tv Water shortage in summer we were told. Maybe a hose pipe ban. I did film my mate playing and it's on our KZbin channel. I chickened out of being filmed as I knew it would be too hard to play

Thinking of doing a trip next year around the area…. Thinking of playing nefyn, Porthmadog and royal st David’s. ? Is this a good choice or would you recommend anything better then Porthmadog? We don’t like playing temporary tee boxes lol so not too sure about this course? Cheers.

I’d recommend the two I played, nefyn and Porthmadog, only a couple of temp tee boxes but they can be excused with the views, wish I had played royal st David’s tbh but looks epic! If you haven’t watched my video at nefyn I played all 27 holes 👍🏼

Yeh great course! I booked it all through golf breaks, so I think about £40 or so on the weekend?
